Creativity is a large part of who I am. I am creative in a visual way and I like to work toward a final product. When I have an idea, I shape it and mold it in my head. By the time I start to physically make a piece of art I have a complete vision of what I would like to create. Usually as I paint or take pictures, my vision changes. My final product is always different than my first vision and it is interesting to look back at my ideas through the process. I like to create art that makes people think and ask questions. I pull ideas from art that I have seen and appreciated, and I use my own personal opinions and questions to fuel my creative process.
When I am not working on a painting or photoshoot, I create in other ways. I love to draw sketches and doodles wherever I can. I draw faces on the white lids of my coffee in the mornings. My school notes are littered with small designs and sketches of the person sitting in front of me. If I don't have anything to draw with, I think of what I am going to create next, or how to perfect something I am already working on.
