My personal favorite artist that I feel is very creative is Kanye West. Kanye West makes music for himself and doesn't try to please what the mass media wants. He stays original which distance himself from any other rap artist. He mixes music and art in such of a unique way, from his lyrics all the way to his album cover and fashion style. He never recycles from his old work. Every album he drops never sounds like the last. They always have a complete different sound and a complete different theme. His music is his way of describing his mood towards life. Every new project he works on, something about him changes. From his character, to the way he dresses. Nothing stays the same about him.
The Picture above shows his stages of change from his first album to his most current one. He uses the bear cartoon to define himself. As he goes on his career you can see the changes of the bear as he is getting older and his style of fashion and life changes.
Kanye West isn't afraid to speak his mind. He doesn't care what other people feels about him, which makes him feel very comfortable with himself. He gets a lot of hate for the way he acts, but I just feel he is being himself. I feel that a lot of people can benefit about knowing Kanye by staying true to yourself. You don't have to act or wear a certain clothes just to feel accept in today society. I benefit from Kanye by learning to stay completely original and having the pride of being different from everyone else.
