Dancing for LGBT

If I could create a piece of art it would be a dance piece incorporating bulling and harassment of LGBT teens and equality for all. This is a piece I have thought a lot about and I am working on it now. The piece would intertwine many styles of dance like ballet, modern, jazz, tap, and hip-hop. The music would also range from pop dance numbers to ballads. In my head i have it set to the music of Lady Gaga because I got the inspiration from her song Hair when she performed in live on the Paul O'Grady Show.

This social issue is important because everyday LGBT teens are committing suicide because they feel that they there is no light at the end of the tunnel. I was like this once, but I now know that there is hope and that I have a gift I need to share with people. This piece wouldn't be just for LGBT teens but for everyone who feels alone. I want to show them there are people out there who do care for them and their is a better future ahead
